We are as central to the county as you could find, yet two junctions of the M40 are easily reached within twenty minutes or so, both to the south and to the west, with easy access to M25 and M1 and London. Our b&b (bed and breakfast) accommodation is amongst the best in the area.

The Plough stands on the ancient Ridgeway thoroughfare, in fact it actually passes by the front door of the pub. Coombe Hill is just a stroll, albeit a steep stroll up the hill from us. From this vantage point the vale of Aylesbury rolls away into the distance to the north, while to the south there is a delightful view of the Chiltern Hills.

There are dozens of places of interest within easy reach of us, whether you are seeking the solitude of the country, to visit one of the many stately homes or to travel the short distance to London there is something for everyone here.
